The purpose of the Student Ministry here at Sandia is to Bring God to Students and Students to God. One of the greatest gifts God has given us is to be able to go to Him at any time and be in His presence through a relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. There is much work to do in New Mexico to win students for Christ. The student ministry has prayerfully accepted this challenge. Our philosophy of ministry is to enable students to become fully devoted followers of Christ. With the intensity of school, accompanied by the demands of everyday life, our programming has taken on a very purpose-driven goal – every event planned follows our overall purpose as a church. In all we do – fellowships, youth trips, and Bible studies, we hope to never lose sight of this goal.
This Bible study provides a learning time for Students to be actively involved in the study of God’s Word. Students, grades 7 – College & Career are learning Biblical truths through music, stories, prayer time, games and other activities which reinforce Bible Application & Apologetics. Connection begins at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays.

Rooted in the confession of Isaiah 26:8, PASSION exists to glorify God by uniting students in Worship, prayer and justice for spiritual awakening in this generation.
From its start in 1995, the PASSION movement has had a singular mission—calling students from campuses across the nation and around the world to live for what matters most. For us, what matters most is elevating the name of Jesus Christ. We believe in this generation and are watching God use them to change the climate of faith around the globe. Since the first gathering in 1997, PASSION has had the privilege of encountering millions of students and 18-25 year olds, a sea of young people whose lives have been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Their voice is getting louder as they rise, united as a generation, bringing hope and light to the world. Since 2007, believing worship + justice are two sides of the same coin, students at PASSION have generously given over $14 million to 70 amazing partner organizations around the world. PASSION is more than music, more than events. PASSION is a generation living for his name. The wave is growing into a global awakening. Join the movement. Future dates and venues to be determined.
